A man was booked today by Janipur police for giving on rent the rooms of his house without police verification.
Acting on the reports, that five to six families were living in a residential building in Janipur Housing Colony on rent without mandatory police inspection, a police team headed by SHO police station Janipur Inspector Nayat Ali rushed to the spot and arrested the landlord, Bishan Dass son of Shanghoo Ram, resident of Kot (at present House number 112 in Janipur Housing Colony).
In this connection, a case FIR number 23/2021 under Section 188 IPC was registered against the landlord in police station Janipur for violating orders of District Magistrate to inform the police before giving on rent any residential complex.
